Remco Roller Equipment Manufacturing Co. Inc. has developed a system that mechanically applies rubber to the ends, or the ``Z axis,'' of rubber-covered rolls. The machinery reduces production time and waste by eliminating the need for cutting doughnut-sized sheets of rubber and applying them by hand onto roller ends.
